Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo have apologised to fans after reports emerged that Lionel Messi will miss Sunday’s clash with Inter Miami and will offer free tickets to future games.

The Dynamo have admitted they thought Messi would be fit enough to play because his name was not on the injury list for the game.
“Messi is not on the injury list for the game, but there was word that he did not travel to Houston,” the statement said. “Unfortunately, we have no control over who the opposing team plays,” a statement from the Dynamo read.
The สมัครสมาชิก UFABET วันนี้ รับเครดิตฟรีทุกวัน reported that Messi was not injured, but Miami coach Javier Mascherano decided to rest him because of the tight schedule. Miami
has played midweek and weekends for the past two weeks as it also competes in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
The Dynamo’s apology is not the first of its kind for a Major League Soccer team. Messi also missed the Vancouver Whitecaps last year, and they only found out after Miami had left.
The Whitecaps issued an apology and offered half-price food and drink at the stadium,
while the Chicago Fire offered fans gift vouchers for future games after Messi was ruled out of action due to an injury in August.
